Spirit masters are known as the pet class in the game. They are the only class in the game which is granted the right to have a pet. Their primary weapon is either a spell book or an orb. As the only pet class, their pets give then an edge to help them defeat their opponents. There are four main pets used by Spirit masters, and the four pets abilities all vary. The tricky to use the pets to its fullest is to figure out the situation and make a quick decision on which pet would work best.
A spirit master is very similar with a Sorcerer except for the ability to have pets. A sorcerer is well in dealing long-ranged magic damage, and they can do so with fury. The differences between a Spirit master and a Sorcerer is that Spirit masters also rely on the use of dot’s and crowd control abilities, but Sorcerers rely more on simply nuking their opponent down and kiting. When in soloing, Spirit masters have some advantages than Sorcerers have due to their pet. If you want to be a nuking class but want more in your arsenal than just high powered nukes and some CC abilities, and then a Spirit master is what your are looking for.
In PVP, the strategy Spirit masters use is to outlast their opponents, but the way they apply is different from Clerics or Templars. Spirit masters use their pet and dots as their weapon and then make an attempt to survive while their opponent lost their lives. Spirit master is similar to Sorcerers when it comes to the situation when spirit masters can not kite their opponent or get caught up to, they can quickly defeated.
